Tell us about @londonxboston; what drove you to start it?

I originally created an Instagram account called @pugstagram after my two pugs, London and Boston. When I had Mia it only made sense to start a personal account! 

How has motherhood changed you?

I find myself learning and growing everyday raising little ones. Each child teaches me something about myself and that’s what inspires me to give them more back!

What are the greatest lessons motherhood has taught you? 

To be selfless, to be patient (oh so patient), and to be somewhat guided by them individually as they are all different personalities. What I do with one, doesn’t necessarily work with another. 

What piece of advice would you like to share with other Mums about motherhood?

You get out what you put into motherhood. I give 100 percent through this journey and I am always reading, and educating myself on new ways to understand and raise my little ladies. 

What is the most challenging aspect about motherhood for you?

At the moment, it’s trying to divide myself three ways.. My 6 year old is at school so there is a new big girl attitude that needs a lot of my attention. 

My 4 year old is trying to work out how to be a middle child and she is more emotional finding that balance.

And of course, My 3 month old, for all the reasons. 

How do you like to start your day? Any rituals?

I like to wake up, have special time with Yumi in bed where we play and talk ( I talk and she stares at me weird) and then I make everyone’s bed and get breakfast started! 

What drives you to maintain a healthy lifestyle for yourself and your family?

Exercise - anything. Just exercise. It’s so good for mental and physical health. 

I also love to cook, so do the girls when I can pull some extra patience from somewhere and let them help!

How do you find balance in your life? Can you share any tips? 

I may have to get back to you on that. I am in the midst of finding my balance with three babes, a husband, two dogs and a farm. It’s all positive but once again, trying to divide myself has been challenging at times. 

What 3 things could you not live without?

Alcohol. Just kidding...

What is your ideal holiday destination, and why?

Kids or no kids?

Kids - anywhere with lots of outdoor space, camping, a kids club (tried it for an hour and had to pick them up) 

No kids - my husband and I have travelled extensively but South Africa has always been on my bucket list because I want to go on a safari. 

What is your favourite quote to live by?

It’s more a life motto “ don’t give up"
